PERCEPTION (Or who buttered your bread?)

It makes me mad when I find a publication that ignores indie publishers and authors.

It cannot be that they are unaware of the indie movement. When you read the posts, you’d surely think that indies don’t exist. The reason has to be found someplace else. I guess if you don’t talk about them, they will go away.  Not on your tintype, Tommy!

One of my recent disappointments was in the otherwise excellent post from www.Bookreporter.com, www.ReadingGroupGuides.com, www.FaithfulReader.com, and www.AuthorsOnTheWeb.com. I have been a reader of several of these websites’ post for an extended time. It never dawned on me that the articles were from the perspective of the Big Five Publishers. Since I have my novel, The Tipping Point: A Wainwright Mystery  being released on April 30th, I wanted it submitted for review. I selected on of the above sites and that is when I read this:
