Mystery and Suspense Series: The Tipping Point is a thriller novel full of intrigue about greed, fraud and murder. . .
Like watching a Mystery and Suspense Movie, the complex plot of this series evolves from a Seattle corporate board room to a penthouse suite in a Bahama luxury hotel for another murder victim.
Boerne, Texas, 30 April 2015 — Murdering Millionaires. Garth Wainwright and his nine business partners have become wealthy as owners of the real estate investment firm CapVest. When one of those partners is murdered, Wainwright’s inbred bull-headiness needs to know why. Being stonewalled by his other partners makes him dig deeper for answers. What he finds will destroy the firm and send them all to federal prison. Someone has stolen millions of dollars from the firm and there is a conspiracy to cover it up. Who can he trust? Are the fraud and murder connected? If so, Why? And then another partner is murdered.
“I spent forty plus years in the real estate investment business. During the days of real property syndications in the ’70’s and ‘80’s, these kinds of things happened. I described them in The Tipping PoInt: A Wainwright Mystery,” (Marble Arch Communications, 2015, 978-0-9888052-2-4, Print Edition: $20.44, https://www.walterdanley.com) Danley said.
“There is something that happens to people with big egos who control billion dollar portfolios,” he continued. Danley explained that the people and places in his mystery thriller novel are all figments of his imagination. However, the fraud, ego-driven greed, drugs and sex he wrote about were taken from his history in the business. Danley said that former operators of real estate syndication investments would enjoy the intricate plot and that real estate investors can benefit from learning how they are vulnerable to manipulation and fraud.
Danley is a veteran of four decades of real estate investment business on a national platform. He wore many operational hats during that time; sales, marketing, acquisitions and dispositions of properties. In mid-career Walter again focused on his education and enrolled at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management, earning an MBA in the prestigious Presidential/Key Executive program. He can be contacted here.
Smiling broadly, Danley said, “You know, writing this book was the most fun I’ve had in ages!”

About the Author:
As a former investment executive, Danley now writes mystery and suspense thrillers instead of living them. The firm, characters, conflicts, conspiracy and murders in the story never happened. But the fraud, sex, and partner greed comprised significant elements of the multi-billion dollar real estate
syndication business of the 70s and 80s. Danley used his years of experience in that industry to craft the Wainwright Mystery series.
Danley is the father of five grown sons and more grandchildren than he has fingers to count them. He lives and works in the Texas Hill Country, writing the sequel to Tipping Point.
Critics say if you like mystery and suspense with exhilarating thrills, blind curve plot twists, and pageturning action, you’ll love Walter Danley’s novels. http://www.walterdanley.com
